ResponderEliminarIf a company wants to go social and they are not sure that they have a well structured social media networking procedure, the company has to make an analysis about the uses of social network to study the positive and negative effects that it could provide; because the use of Internet has a very restrictive policy in the office. The company has to make the decision on the basis of the results that the analysis will provide in order to establish the right guidelines, the right rules, and the right technologies to implement it. The guidelines that the company could follow to make the transition possible are called “A Five Step Roadmap to Internal Social Media” which includes asses, align for design, implement, ensure sustainability, and measure and adjust (Lupfer, 2012). Also, they have to establish the technologies and the rules that satisfy and respect the needs and policies of the company; because they have to take into account the political correctness and the Internet restrictive police in the office. Nowadays, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and other technologies are contributing companies to “move forward in the game”, meaning that social media represents a need for companies. The challenge for companies is to integrate technologies correctly with business objectives. Executives are in the need to know how social media fits to the company´s respective mission and vision in order to establish target customers, service recovery, professional credibility, special network, perception of the customers, competitors, and customer training (Philips, 2013). The company has to be awake about the importance of leaving the comfort zone to help the organization to reach a good development. Social media can be a want or/and a need for companies; because “social isn’t just technology, it must become part of the corporate DNA” (Savitz, 2012). For that, companies have to implement social media, remembering that "it gives to business a new way to market at or talk to people. It changes the world communicates and connects" (Savitz, 2012).

The use of social media for business is imperative nowadays.
ResponderEliminarIt's represents an useful and powerful tool for the specific consumer search, market expansion, brand control, promotion, negatives comment supervision to take action and improvements, observe competitor performance, among other things.
It is a strategic measure to use Facebook, Twitter and even Instagram to get feedback from consumers.
To have a work staff specifically for social media management and feedback reports from consumers is really necessary. This or these employees must handle a formal and respectful language on social networks at all times.
It would help to use celebrities consistent with the brand through exchange, helps marketing promotion. For example, if it is a watch company, use a model, movie star or TV image to display on Twitter or Instagram through photos, could increase sales. It is very fashionable and it works great.
I’m agree with my classmate vision Maria Eugenia Molina, about that the companies must know the laws to make proper use of social media, an its unnecessary to train all employees on its use. Gregory Raspatella also have a great opinion about this subject.

ResponderEliminar"Social media is a type of online media that expedites conversation as opposed to traditional media, which delivers content but doesn't allow readers/viewers/listeners to participate in the creation or development of the content.” (Ward, 2010) .According to this, it is important to highlight that since 1989, the amount of information available has increased drastically, and the use of Social Media has planed an important role in people´s daily life. The reasons behind this are very simple:
This new way of communication allows users to instantly obtain and share information. Therefore, it permits companies to involve customers in the innovation process. Moreover social media seems to be fun because people can easily share photos, feelings, videos, and personal stories. This fact will always allow companies to meet in a more efficient the demand of their customers, since they are constantly uploading what their thoughts.
Thus we as a company should consider this option for promoting our services and make constant surveys about past purchases and interests, to increase the productivity, but one has to be careful, however, because as Emily said “our engagement with social media not only could increase the productivity and the popularity of the company but also could take us to the chaos“ To avoid a terrible situation it is extremely important that our social media campaign uses abides by the laws, by writing down a protocol about how the promotions should be written, always taking in account the political correctness.
Finally it is important to focus on which social network should be selected,in our case since web pages like Facebook, Youtube and Twitter blogging are the most widely used networking and social media tools.

ResponderEliminarFor years now, social media has been touted as one of the most important marketing aspects in the tech industry. At first it was important just to have a strong social media presence, now it’s increasingly beneficial to take heed in every social event and interaction surrounding your enterprise.
In this case I agree with emily our company is not ready yet for this step, because of their strong work rules in the office but I think the company really needs to be integrated in social media. the advantages of using them are as wide as the disadvantages of its misuse, so they should be applied before workshops to be taught employees how to apply them properly. So also agree with Jesus, the company could create new rules and the use of social media should be only applied professionally.
As social media evolves, companies are beginning to use it in new, more marketable ways. Take for example two companies These two companies are not doing the same thing, but they are trying to stake their claim in the trend of growing connection between customers and the products they use. company one sees social media as a way to foster positive customer service interactions and creates a way for businesses to respond to social media. on the other hand, company two streamlines social media relationships to create a contact page that fosters more meaningful, personal business correspondence. Both are just examples of ways social media is causing business to change their marketing strategies.
Finally like in the example, there are different ways to apply the social media in a workplace and these benefits could increase the results of the sell on our products.
